Laura Hagood

 

Currently executive director of the DC History Center, at the Carnegie Library in Downtown Washington, Laura Brower Hagood has 25 years of experience as a nonprofit leader in arts, heritage, and culture in the District. She has held development, communications, and audience-building roles at the National Building Museum and Cultural Tourism DC. She was also a key member of the team that founded the Mosaic Theater Company in 2005. A resident of the Shaw neighborhood, she serves as an adjunct faculty member at American University’s Arts Management Master’s Degree Program, from which she graduated in 2004.
