The Spark 2026 Honorees

The Vradenburg family’s generosity has profoundly shaped Washington, DC’s theater community. At Mosaic, George Vradenburg established the Trish Vradenburg Play Commission, honoring his late wife’s contributions to the arts by supporting emerging female playwrights, thereby ensuring the representation of women's voices within Mosaic’s repertoire and distinguishing DC as a center for contemporary theater.
